Working Principle of BLDC Motor

The working principle of BLDC motor is similar to that of conventional DC motors, namely the Lorentz force law, which states that whenever a current carrying conductor is placed in a magnetic field, it will be affected by a force.

How Does A Brushless Motor Work?

1. The positive power line of the Hall sensor inside the motor, i.e. the red line, is generally connected to 5-12V DC, mostly 5V. The Hall signal line transmits the position of the magnet relative to the coil in the brushless motor.
